How To Use Webhooks With Zapier

In this document, we will walk through the steps to connect a Webhook from ClickFunnels to a Zapier trigger. This will allow for integration with other applications and platforms by sending event data when an event occurs. The Webhook trigger in Zapier requires a paid Premium Zapier account.

Prior to getting started, you will need to have the following:

  • A paid Premium Zapier account.

  • A ClickFunnels 2.0 account.

Step by Step Walk Through:

  1. Create the Zap trigger within Zapier.

    1. Log in to a paid Premium Zapier account.

    2. Create a new Zap.



    3. Select the Webhook trigger.



    4. Select Catch Hook from the Event dropdown menu.



    5. Click the Continue button.



    6. Optionally, enter a Child Key to pick off. For details about this option, contact Zapier support.



    7. Click the Continue button.



    8. Copy the Webhook URL provided by Zapier.



  2. Create the Webhook within ClickFunnels.

    1. Click on Settings.



    2. Click on Webhooks.



    3. Click on the Add new endpoint button.



    4. Enter a Name to help identify the Webhook.



    5. Paste the Webhook URL provided by Zapier while creating the Zap Webhook trigger into the URL field.



    6. Click within the Event Types field and select which events will trigger this Webhook.

    7. Click the Create endpoint button.



    8. A notification will appear, confirming that the endpoint was successfully created.



  3. Test the Webhook.

    1. The Webhook must now be tested to finish creating the Zap.

    2. To do this, the selected event must be triggered in the ClickFunnels account. For example, if the contact.created event was selected, then a new contact must be created in the ClickFunnels account.

    3. Once the event occurs, return to the Zap in Zapier and click on the Test Trigger button.

    4. A message confirming that a request was found should appear along with the webhook data.



    5. Click on the Continue button to set up the action for the Zap.
