Store : Setting a Store Path Name

When creating a store to market your product or service, you may wish to Set a Store Path Name. Your store path name is an important part of your branding, and can help you to create an easy-to-find store. If you do not set a store path name when creating your store, a default one will be provided that can be changed later.

 

Prior to getting started, you will need to have the following:

  • (Optional) A store set up in your ClickFunnels account.


Step by Step Walk Through:

You can set up a path name for your store when first creating a store, or by editing the settings on an existing store. These steps are very similar, but differ slightly.

 

If you are creating a New Store.

  1. If you do not have a store created (or wish to create a new store), from the Store Dashboard, select Add New Store.

  2. You will now see the Store Settings page, pictured below. You can set your store’s Path Name by filling in the highlighted field marked Current Path.

  3. Once you have chosen a Path Name and completed the rest of your store setup, click Create Store.

  4. Congratulations! You have set up a path name for your new store page. This new path name will follow the domain in the URL for the store.

To Update An Existing Store Path NameIf you already have an existing store and wish to change the path name, follow these steps.

  1. If you already have a store, you can edit the settings for this store by going to the Store Dashboard and clicking on the store name.

  2. Next, click Edit Store. This will bring you to the Store Settings page.

  3. You will now see the Store Settings page, pictured below. You can set your store’s Path Name by filling in the field marked Current Path.

  4. Once you have updated the name, click on Update Store to save your new settings.

  5. Way to go! You have now updated the path name on your existing store page! This new path name will follow the domain in the URL for the store.
