This article will explain how to add an input element to a page. The Input element will allow you to collect information from your customers. The information collected will be saved on the customer contact page for the site.
Prior to getting started, you will need to have the following:
A page on your site
A section and row are set on the page
And an email field to associate the information to be collected
Step by Step Walk Through:
Open the page editor for the page you would like to add the input element to.
Mouse over the Section and Row on the page or over an element that would be above the element being added to the page. Click on the add element button displayed in orange.
Scroll down or type “input” into the search bar to find the input element icon.
Double left-click on the input element icon or left-click-hold on the icon and drag it to the desired position.
Then in the top right of the editor click save.
Congratulations, an input field element has been added to the page!
