Email Hosting FAQs

In this article, we will discuss email hosting. ClickFunnels allows you to send emails directly from your account, but it does not provide a mailbox to receive emails. For that, you will need an email hosting provider. A few of the most popular email hosting providers are Google Workspace (formerly GSuite), Zoho, and Microsoft 365.


Question: What is an email host?

  • Answer: An email host is your email inbox (mailbox) where you receive email replies from your customers. You can directly exchange emails with your customer straight from your inbox.

Question: What is the difference between email hosting and ClickFunnels emails?

  • Answer: Email hosting is your inbox where you receive emails from your customers. ClickFunnels emails are emails you send to your customers from your ClickFunnels account through Broadcasts, Workflow, etc.

Question: How do I set up Google Workspace (GSuite) as my email host in my ClickFunnels account?

  • Answer: Google Workspace, formerly called GSuite, cannot be added from within your ClickFunnels account. You need a Google Workspace account to receive emails from your customers. Question: How do I set up Zoho as my email hosting service?

  • Answer: Zoho, also known as Zoho Mail, cannot be set up from within your ClickFunnels account. To use Zoho as your email host, you must go to this link to create and set up an account.

Once you have created and set up an account with either Google Workspace or Zoho, you want to find the information from your selected email host that you should add to your domain’s DNS records.
