This document will explain how to verify email DNS records in ClickFunnels 2.0. These DNS records are required for the ClickFunnels platform to send emails using your custom domain. The required records are generated for you when adding a new domain to a workspace. If any record was not set up or verified during the initial domain setup process, you can use these instructions to set up and verify them again.

Requirements

- A custom domain.
- The custom domain is added and verified in the Workspace.
Step-by-step Walkthrough
Click on “Marketing”.
Click on “Marketing settings”.
Click on “Email domains”.
Click the wrench icon next to the domain with unverified DNS records.
Follow the on-screen instructions to allow access to your domain’s DNS records and have them configured automatically.
Alternatively, if the automated process is unsuccessful or you do not want to use the automatic method, then manually add the DNS records to your domain through your domain’s DNS provider, then click the “Verify” button.
Depending on your DNS record’s
TTL
value, it can take up to 72 hours for changes to go into effect.
Congratulations! You now know how to verify your domain’s email DNS records.
Troubleshooting
- A domain registrar or DNS provider does not support
TXT
records longer than 255 characters.- In this case, please use a different DNS provider, such as Cloudflare, to manage your domain’s DNS records. Please see Cloudflare’s documentation for more details.
