This document will explain how to add and verify DKIM keys. These keys are a DNS record required for the ClickFunnels platform to send emails using your custom domain. A default DKIM key is generated for the root domain when setting up a new domain. If the record was not verified during the domain setup process, you could use these instructions to verify it manually.
Prior to getting started, you will need to have the following:
An active ClickFunnels 2.0 account.
A custom domain with access to the DNS settings.
The custom domain is added and verified at least once in the Workspace.
Step by Step Walk Through:
Click on Marketing.
Click on DKIM Keys.
To add a new DKIM key, click on the Add New DKIM Key button.
Type in the domain name from which you want to send emails (e.g., example.com). Note: Domain names cannot contain trademarked phrases.
Click on the Create DKIM Key button.
To verify the DKIM key, click on the domain name from the list of DKIM keys.
Click on the Start DKIM Setup button.
Follow the on-screen instructions to allow the automated process to add the DNS record to your domain for you.
Otherwise, if the automated process cannot add the record or you do not want to use the automatic method, then add the DNS record to your domain manually through your DNS provider.
Once the DNS record is set up and allowed time to propagate, click on the Verify button.
Congratulation! You now know how to add and verify DKIM keys.
